Depression is a physiological disease. At present it is very common among the teenagers. There can be so many reasons of depression which can affect the mental health of a teenager and causes depression. Hormonal and physical changes, parent’s relations, atmosphere in school and college, behavior of teacher and classmates, unfulfilled expectations and loneliness can cause depression. It rises with the time and teenager patient feels helpless. There are few symptoms of teen depression i.e. teenager feeling fear of going to the college, he/she feeling sleep disturbances, feeling laziness, crying without any reason, not communication with the friends, and teenager thinking of ending their life.
There can be numerous effect of depression on the mental health of the teenagers. Depression can make the memory power weak. It can affect the digestive system and eating disorders. Teenager can get angry on small issues and becomes aggressive. They can misbehave with other and can talk nonsense. In a deep depressed condition, teens can also try to end his/her life. So the parents have to change their teen’s negative thinking into positive and hopeful thoughts.
It is the responsibility of the parents to give proper time to their teenager child and let them not feel lonely. Try to understand your young child and share his/her feelings. Have friendly relations with your children. If depression is not getting well and staying more than two weeks then parents should consult with a professional physiologist.

Obesity is an overweighed body problem, which causes due to the more fatness than average. Guide them for a limited use of fast food and enough use of nutritious food. Due to the hormonal changes and other physical changes in teen age you have to eat a balanced and healthy food.
